Ok guys, since the original form thread was a little clogged up, I'm putting BOOK 2 on this thread! Thank you guys for the support. Also, if you haven't read the first one, I suggest you read it. READ ON MAH PEEPS!
*I do not own the hunger games characters in this book except for the ones I make. All of the seperate ideas from the books and movies are also mine. I give credit for the character names and places to Suzanne Collins, original author of "The Hunger Games", "Catching Fire", and "Mockingjay".
Chapter 1
Reliving The Moments

I was waiting to step onto the elevator that would lift me up to were I would re-watch parts of the Hunger Games. I was in a sky blue dress that went down to my ankles. My hair was put back into a french braid, flower pins put in it. It had been about a week since I had gotten back. I still had to wear a bandage around my back, because it started bleeding, sometimes, when I move. I had been so happy that I made it back alive and would see Katniss and Mother again. Now, I would have to re-watch all of the deaths and blood. It was weird to be so dressed up after the Games. I went onto the elevator and it went up onto the stage. The roar of the crowd was deafening. I walked over and sat down where the Victors sat. "Welcome back, I must say." Says Caesar Flickerman. "Glad to be back." I say, trying not to notice the audience. Even after what I had been through, I still was shy. "So, how does it feel being the first even 12 year old Victor?" He asked. I thought about it for a moment, then shrugged. "Guess it is kind of shocking.". After a little chit-chat, they started the video. It started from the deaths in order, from girl to boy. Occasionly, it would show snaps of me. I watched as I saw how Halie had been hiding there the entire time, her die again, me dragging her to the bushes, the corn-cob. I saw Rue, how she was jumping through the trees before I had came along. I felt a twinge of guilt. If I hadn't been with her, would she have lived? Yes, she would have, because we both had to share the berries, making her have to go get more. If I would have went instead, it would have been all turned around. I watched Peeta, who had survived by stealing supplies from the Careers, camping out by a bush with camofloudge all over him. When the video was finally over, I was left with a feeling in the bottom of my stomache that it was because of me that Peeta, Halie, and Rue had died. |

Chapter 2:
Home On My Mind

After the video, I was escorted to a dinner party at the president's mansion. It was so big, it could probably fit about three of our houses back at the seam, maybe more. I walked around, took pictures with people I didn't know, and ate the food that was provided. All of the food there could keep my family fed for a year. Everywhere I walked, I was still thinking about home. I wonder how they are doing back home. If they are doing bad, then they just have to wait until I get home, then they can move into the house that is now mine in the Victors Village. I felt like I was someone in their 30's, not a 12 year old girl, from all the things that have happened. Finally, when it was over, it was time to get on the train and go back home. It was nice to take a shower without looking behind my back, sleep in a bed and not up in a tree, thinking about who would try to kill me next. I drifted into a peaceful sleep seconds after I laid in bed. |

Chapter 3:
Home Again

I woke up and got dressed in a dress that I would wear home. It was a very light purple, almost pink. I put the wooden star on the front of it. I had kept it because it was like a small peice of Rue being back with me. Right after I ate breakfast, we were back in District 12. I watched the trees go by as we drove to the train station. I longed to go out the back door and just walk home. When we finally got there, we were greeted by cameras. It was like the first time I got on the train, the light flashing from every angle. Only this time, I felt more alone. We ate lunch in the Justice Building, then it was time for me to go home. I was escorted straight to the house in the Victor's Village, being told Katniss and Mother had already moved in there. I walked up the steps and opened the door. |

Chapter 4:
New House

As soon as I opened the door, a bright light shined through the door. There was beautiful furniture and a fireplace. On a couch, I saw Mother sewing. I ran to her and jumped into her lap, crying with happiness. She seemed shocked at first, but then wrapped her arms around me. We didn't say a word for a long time. I was so relieved to be back in her arms, not worrying about anything. I felt like I was 4 again, sitting in her lap. I thought that we would never have to worry about a thing again. Boy, was I wrong. |

Chapter 5:
District 12

I brushed my hair and put it back with a headband. It had been 3 weeks since we moved into the Victor's Village. I still went to school, but now everyone stared at me. I was the first ever 12 year old to make it all the way through the Hunger Games. Pretty soon, I would have to go on the Victor's Tour. I took up the hobby of playing the flute since I had been out of the Game's, since every Victor has to take up a hobby. It was rainy outside, but Katniss still went to go hunting. I hoped she would find a way out of the rain. In about a week, it would be time for the Tour. I would have to go through all of the Districts and give a speech, which I was dreading. I was still painfully shy. When I went to bed, I stared at the wooden star I had gotten in the Arena, thinking of how Rue and Hailey would be watching from somewhere. |
