When can we expect a fix for loading multiple places in the same studio instance? It gets really tiring alt + tabbing between two windows. I appreciate all the work going in to this, and I thank you for it, as well as the fore-mentioned issue, could we see a way to have plugins remember their toolbar position? I like to have my plugin's listed down the side of the studio, but every time I create a new place or load an existing one, all my plugin toolbars are reset. I understand this maybe because of how they're created as I've made my own plugins, but I hope something can be done.
Many thanks for fixing the Property editor column width and many thanks for continuing to improve the studio as much as possible.
I hope the feedback I've been giving and will continue to give will help provide a greater environment for building.

Oh and with the latest update, if you close the last existing tab the studio closes, can this feature be removed, or if it's a bug, fixed? It's going to get particularly annoying every time I close the welcome page he he.

Yeah we'll get a fix out for next week. Thanks for the great feedback. Plugin position storing is something we can work on as well. Unfortunately I think separate applications of Studio for each place is here to stay. We took a page from the Microsoft Word book on that one.
Let us know if there's anything else you'd like to see fixed, and thanks for being so patient!

Supporting multiple places at the same time is significantly more complicated. As you switch between tabs, the Explorer and other windows have to update to the proper selected place. We can make a lot of assumptions in the code with only 1 place that makes the code simplier and easier to maintain. Having multiple places does make it a bit more difficult to figure out which script tab goes with which place. |

When I try to rotate the camera using the mouse the camera sorts of shake back and forth and back and forth. I don't know if that's just my computer, but it's really affecting the smoothness of my work.

@yokan109: Yes. Many of us have experienced it on a variety of levels.
My only suggestion: Have the script syntax checker tell you what error it is detecting! It took me ten minutes to figure out I was using = instead of ==!

Could you make it so plugins and the command bar able to do protected methods again? It is still one of the disadvantages to the new studio and I would like it fixed in order for me to like Studio 2013 at all. |

Has anyone else had issues with Updating places and Models?
I spend hours working on my place and when I X out of it in the Studio window it asks if I want to Save. I click 'Save' and then it doesn't update.
It took me 6 tries to finally get my place updated with just the addition of one car model yesterday.
Today I did some updates to another place, cleaned it up, grouped a bunch of parts and the update didn't work again.
I have had the same problem with 'Save selection to Roblox' when I have a model selected. It takes a few tries to update the model.

I think that the ROBLOX Studio is fine, except for one small suggestion; not a bug: In the scripting editor, I think there should be an icon next to the line number when you make an error, not an underline. |
