I see WAY to many doubble posts in this forum. Its all like, spelling corrections and adding new things to a list. I think its stupid, and messy as well. So why dont we have an edit button on the forums? that way people can change thier past posting mistakes without doubble posting. Anyone agree?

Half support. What if a troll says something extremely rude, and then edits their post? What if someone bullies a person with forum posts, and when the victim reports the bully, but the proof is gone because the bully edited their posts? What if a clan leader decides to change a scoreboard on a thread or a topic of a thread to shut up another clan leader who is mad about so and so? What if a clan leader or forumer made a huge post about something of importance (ex. a clan log, Despairus's price floor bible), and their account got hacked and the hacker erased everything by editing the post? yep.

@pikachuiscoolio, There should be a button that says "edited," where you could click it and it shows previous versions. That's what they do on facebook.

Totally bumping this because I almost made a thread about the same thing. Support. Had to double post in a thread to correct a spelling error that made me look stupid.

I'm sorta halfway on this. I feel like it would be a nice feature to have, but at the same time I feel it would be too abusable. It would have to be easy to view previous versions, and you could only edit once. ~Percussionist Skills~

It's not abused on other website forums. It would be pointless to abuse. I don't see anyone doing that.

What if a troll says something extremely rude, and then edits their post? ITs probably all saved at the time of the report assuming you report What if someone bullies a person with forum posts, and when the victim reports the bully, but the proof is gone because the bully edited their posts? ITs probably all saved at the time of the report assuming you report What if a clan leader decides to change a scoreboard on a thread or a topic of a thread to shut up another clan leader who is mad about so and so? Who cares let clan leaders be immature like 95% of their members. What if a clan leader or forumer made a huge post about something of importance (ex. a clan log, Despairus's price floor bible), and their account got hacked and the hacker erased everything by editing the post? Thier account is hacked anyway, they can complety ruin the group at that point. I am sure thats the least of worries. yep. Nope.

@remember Remember, please remember to read the whole forum before replying to my comment. It's not that hard. If you did actually read this whole forum, you would've know that Domd said that there could be a button that says "edited" and shows previous versions. There's no need to overreact and reply to like every single sentence in my post XD
