The smell of revolution is in the air and you're looking to make a quick buck off of it. In the north African country Algert (Yes, I know this is fake..) the people are screaming for democratic reform in their abusive dictatorial government. Various rebel militias are beginning to form and the government is starting to suit up their soldiers in the same low-quality gear as their enemies. Some of the citizens are also simply protesting peacefully but soon the danger will be too great to even do that. You have access to some quite valuable gems. What are these? Diamonds. Well, to be honest they're conflict diamonds, stolen and sold to fuel warfare. You've sold a few before but never at this large of a scale. Your monopoly is slowing being set. You'll find ways to get more of these gems and have to strategically make business or you could be another lost life from the revolt. Money will be made.. Now, before we continue, I need a refresher on who is the CEO of this not-so-legal business? >Name >Age >Gender >Appearance (Doesn't have to be too long) >Bio (Optional) (Everyone will share the same character. I'll mainly do the A, B, C, D with pre-made options with some customization. It will still be rather open-ended based on which choices everyone makes.)

>Name Jackson Harris >Age 32 >Gender M >Appearance (Doesn't have to be too long) What used to be pale skin is heavily tanned by the sun. He usually wears a tuxedo. His hair USED to be nice short and straight, but being out here made his hair less pretentious looking and more normal. He stands under 6 feet. >Bio (Optional An aspiring buisness man. He was on the right track when he was arrested 3 times for buisness crimes. Growing up he stole, and sold the stuff he stole. Sometimes even to to the man he stole it from. Realizing that this law-covered place known as America wasn't for him, he went into the gem selling buisness. He never got anywhere really. But now that the war has started... he has a feeling he be getting some blood money.

Ah, right, Mr. Harris.. You wake up in your apartment in Algert. Sun is seeping through the slightly opened blinds and the roar of motor vehicles can be heard outside. On the foot of your bag is a small backpack, a small envelope on the top of it with the word "DIAMONDS". The shout of various people can also be heard and then the single shot of an assault rifle. You remember that you had rented the apartment in soon-to-be rebel territory, thinking that it would be easier to sell these gems here. A) Contact your buddy and business partner Trent Boyers to discuss matters. B) Turn on the crumby TV to the news channel to see if war has broken yet. C) Get something to eat. D) Dress yourself and head outside. "Sir, w-w-we need 50% of the 99% a-and the support o-of at least 1% of the 1% if you're gonna have 42% of the 100% to get 50%."

Well, might as well get right to it. I can eat when I'm hungry. Check the news to see if it's in english, then check if war in the area has started. B.

(No. Just got inspired to make this while we were studying conflict diamonds in Africa via S.S.) *COMBINATION OF A&B* You get up and put on a tattered morning robe, picking up your cellphone from the bedside table and then walk over to a cushioned chair in the small living room, taking a seat in it. You turn on the TV and switch from some soap-opera to a news channel, a man wearing a red beret and ACUs talking to an obviously frightened news anchorman. English subtitles waver below.. "WAR IN ALGERT IS EXTREMELY NEAR... BOTH SIDES LINING UP ON THE BORDERLINES OF NORTH AND SOUTH... REPORTS SAY THAT THE MASS OF THE REBEL FORCES ARE CENTERED IN THE NORTH... FOREIGNERS AND CIVILIANS ARE ADVISED TO EVACUATE..." After reading the text you flip open your phone, calling Trent. After a few rings he answers, his South African accent sticking out, "Aye mate, looks like we'll be able to get running real soon. I've found a person from both sides and they're both looking to buy some of the gems. I'm not exactly sure which is best cutout for it, though.." A) "The people, of course. They not only need some help but the government had it coming for them." B) "Government. Not only will they have more money but those stingy rebels need to be silenced." C) "To hell if I care, we just need to make the most money possible. Sell to them both." D) "We need to wait until the first shots are fired to see who is on the winning side." E) "Are you crazy? We need to do our research first, I hardly know anything about either side." "Sir, w-w-we need 50% of the 99% a-and the support o-of at least 1% of the 1% if you're gonna have 42% of the 100% to get 50%."

(C&D wouldn't really work together. With C you would making arrangements to secretly sell to both of them and D you would just sell to whichever put the biggest dent in the other.) "Sir, w-w-we need 50% of the 99% a-and the support o-of at least 1% of the 1% if you're gonna have 42% of the 100% to get 50%."

"We need to wait until the first shots are fired to see who is on the winning side." He waits a moment after your response, it seeming to take forever for him to reply, "Well, I don't think we'll have to wait too long. My guess on the entire thing is that the government will come swinging and the rebels will hold their ground for a good while. Anyways for the time being we should try to get some more of those precious little gems. From what I've heard there's a company from here that's located in South Africa and it just so happens to specialize in mining, a mixture of mainly gold and diamonds. They're HQ is coincidentally located in the city you're in and I think we could get a few more conflict diamonds from them. What do you say?" A) "I'm sure a little bribe to one of the accountants there could guarantee that they steal a few diamonds to give to us." B) "Talk business with the boss and then interest him in an offer. Say I need collateral and ask for it in diamonds, after he gives it to me I'll run off and never see him again." C) "Ain't nothing a little fist to the face won't do." D) "An actual company? Bah! We can find our own diamonds and get them cheaper from smugglers... if we can even find them." "Sir, w-w-we need 50% of the 99% a-and the support o-of at least 1% of the 1% if you're gonna have 42% of the 100% to get 50%."

"Bribes will work. Slip some money to the accountant and they can sneak us a few diamonds." Trent replies quickly, it seeming like he had already gone through this, "I'm not sure about the accountant but maybe a shipper or desk worker? I'm not exactly sure, the person that's supposed to manage the boss's papers must have to be pretty trustworthy." A) "Now that you mention it a shipper would be best. They could take a few diamonds out of the packaging and hand then hand them to us later." (High risk/Easy bribe) B) "Desk worker. Maybe they could sneak into the packaging room and take one or two." (High risk/Mild bribe) C) "I'm still going with the accountant. May be a bit more pricey but the entire thing could go smoother." (Medium risk/ high bribe) D) "I'll just go covert and get 'em myself." (EXTREMELY high risk/No bribe) "Sir, w-w-we need 50% of the 99% a-and the support o-of at least 1% of the 1% if you're gonna have 42% of the 100% to get 50%."
