I know I am not an advanced scripter, but this isn't a simple script to make either.
The criteria for this script is:
-The character affected by gravity must rotate as if he is walking on a planet as he moves around.
-The gravity amount must be variable.
-The gravity field must be variable.
-The gravity must be able to work through more than one layer of objects.
If it is impossible, please go ahead and tell me. If it is possible, and you have made it, then give a pastebin link.
It seems black hole scripts are a start... |

This is the question that has plaugued roblox scripters for months. |
|
|
Are you saying that someone has asked this before me? |

You don't know the half of it. |
|
|
Why don't I try? A simple black hole script would account for gravity. (with some editing. The part where you change your angle... different story. |

The problem is, your robloxian walks on a horizontal line, so that's one thng... |

Maybe I should make a suggestion to the admins saying that they should allow Robloxians to be able to move on all three axises, therefore allowing planetary gravity to happen. |
|
|
Besides jumping and moving around normally. |

That would be cool. I suggest that robloxians move accourding to lookVector. That would be huge start. |

sroge, if he had a way to override the humanoid, that'd probably be doable, but alas, we dont. D: |

I know, I was suggesting that to the admins (When's the last time WE had an update?) |

Can we have characters WITHOUT humanoids? Why not write our own humanoid to replace theirs :D

@Amagineer
I remember making an artificial Humanoid awhile back, and it worked great. It wasn't intended for players, though, it was just for following bots that worked without a real humanoid. :P |

Put the human in box somewhere. Record it's movements. Cast it onto another object. Viola. You can make gravity. Although, the way you phrased this post, makes it spam. |

You change the 'maxForce' of bodypositions to make them stronger... |

Not even at 1e+010, 1e+010, 1e+010???
Hm...BodyForce?? |
|
|
The hard part of making a planet is to stay up if it's a black hole. But, what about the bullets? they would go out into space! |
|
|
Well, you'd need some BodyAngularVelocity for orbiting, then i'd suggest a Black Hole script edited so it doesn't kill, then a fake skybox around the planet, and bam, your done. Black Hole keeps you stable like Gravity, Oribiting Self Explainatory, and a fake skybox so you dont know your swinging around at 2,000 miles per hour and freak out. |

So many people have tried the "Modified Black Hole" concept it's untrue. No-one's ever succeeded yet, but who's to say we can't give it a try. |

Agreed. Lets be Myth Busters and find out |
