Oligarchy: Rule by a group of self-appointed leaders That is what Roblox has become.... An Oligarchy... Do we have any real say in updates? We are the ones getting these updates, we use the site, we have the right to have a say as users of this site. I'm not saying give us all the power, but we should have someone WE elect at your Headquarters representing us, our views, if we elect that person we will have real say, that person will reflect our views. No more should we be forced to tolerate with Oligarchs, it is tyranny! NOW WHO'S WITH ME?!

They have followed... some of our suggestions. They should implement more though but considering how busy they are, the listen to us quite a bit. ~The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma

It's not that horrible of an idea, but it might bring politics to the majority of Roblox, the election will be rife with slanderous campaigning and it might cause chaos around Roblox. There should also be E-mail verification for voting to make sure there's less chance of cheating to win the election. You also might have forgotten to mention that maybe this representative should be verified to represent for a limited time, or what happens if said representative cannot perform his/her duties for whatever reason?

There should be a representative for every year joined in that system. ~The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma

if we were to vote on updates, I can tell you right now, every thing on WNTS would be voted on Roblox mods are not an obligarchary. They are more of a electoral college. Just like in democracy. As in we have bit small influence on anything. ._.

Regardless of whether you like it or not, it is their company. Now whether or not they're wise and listen to us is another story. I am an eggspert in the eggcelent art of egg puns.

I'm not even going to comment due to the fact that I don't know what an 'oligarchy' is.

This is the worst idea I have ever seen. Not to offend, but ROBLOX is a website, not Africa.

Nothing would operate correctly. The votes would become a popularity contest where people such as SONICTHEHEDGEHOGXX would win and mess up the entire website. {~Omnovia~}

So, let me get this straight; you want it so that people that play a game that *they* create, *they* maintain, and *they* own would have the ability to kick them out of their own game? Please correct me if I am wrong, but that is basically what you are saying.

@Metroid If you think about it, yes, majority would rule and the old regime would be overthrown, if the majority of people vote for it, they must have good reason.

Are you aware that it is because of this idea, that we (The US, in case any non-Americans are reading this) lost the war in Vietnam? Just because a majority of people vote for it, does not mean that they must have a good reason. Anybody that thinks that Republic and Democratic is always the best way for everything, does not have any idea how the world works (or how humans work for that matter).

@Metroid A Republic does have pros and cons, so all forms of government and the view of what's acceptable changes every era of humankind's political history. It was once perfectly acceptable for people to have an Absolute monarch before the Revolution of 1688, but as we grew more rationalist we created what we viewed as a just government, although some might argue against it.
