I don't know, that show had alot of adult humor for 10-12.

they cancelled it because the cost of the style and they targeted age (10-12) were not watching it

oh also another theory is the bloody gir, but even though bloody gir is true, they didn';t cacnell it because of it. it took them like 6 months for nick to find it...lol |

Actually Nick has always been pretty modest.
For example, In Avatar when Jet and Combustion Man die.
You actually don't witness it.
I'm surprised they even let by the explosion that killed Tarrlock and Amon in Legend of Korra. |

It was. Considering that it was such a different cartoon, and considering that it was made such a long time ago, consider that it left an impression to older teenagers and adults until this day.
Soft grunge emos? Those words don't even go together.
Time for a bit of a music lesson, I suppose.
There's no such thing as "soft grunge", and there's no such thing as "grungy emo". |

And if I remember correctly the show was actually canceled, not because of 'bloody Gir' but because the 'Christian Mothers Association' complained (a lot) about the episode where Zim started stealing and eating everyone's guts. (By the way, this was the first episode I saw) |
