except that the ps3 content will be coming to pc. so really, you paid extra for a update that will be available on all other versions of the game.

but you bought the console version, which has content that will eventually come to pc. you basically paid extra for a "sneak peek" at a update.

i suppose that's one way to look at it. but we really can't tell if consoles will get updates first all the time, though. granted, i don't know much of terraria's development, i stopped playing/keeping tabs on development shortly before collectors edition, so.
