Aesthetics is one of the many things that make ROBLOX users appeal more to the games. Weather will make more aesthetics in terms of Lighting and decoration. Now, some may not agree in terms of the lag it may cause. Yes, this will be an issue that will represent the community of users with the problems of frequent lag. But, this can be solved by making a setting to reduce the general quality of the weather. Weather WILL BE OPTIONAL TO SHOW, so it will not affect you when you choose not to have it activated. Now, I will go more detail into the actual weather. the weather icon for Weather will show as a sun shining atop of a cloud in the Studio top bar. There will be these choices that will appear in a ROBLOX GUI: Rain- Typical rain. It will make a splash of different kinds depending on your quality level. Snow- Very small snowflakes that can have the setting to accumulate to a certain stud level. Colors will rnage from clean white all the way to dirty grey. The quality setting will determine if it will be a high quality picture of a snowflake to an actually built snowflake. Hail- Hail with have the option not to hurt or stun, to hurt, to stun, or hurt and stun. Hail might be used for apocalyptic settings. All quality settings will only be a brick ranging from a 1x1 to a 2x2. Thunder(Thunderstorm)- Includes rain, but also thunder. Thunder can be in low quality a picture of thunder to a actual lightning bolt. Tornado- Tornadoes will suck up un-anchored objects and ROBLOXians. It can range from a small tornado to a huge one. You can also determine what type it can be. All weather can be merged together, but that is your choice.

You can script your own weather, thus it is unecessary for this to be made.

Yes, you can script. But really, they glitch way too much, people would not want to script their own, and to not mention the fact that many of them are just GUIs.

1. "They glitch too much" That all depends on how well you scripted it. 2. "People wouldn't want to make it" Well, that's their problem.. 3. "Most of them are GUIs" Your point?

My point is, people generally shrug off the fact that, for example, one famous winter gui is just low quality snowflakes floating down the screen. Now, people don't mind this. But I have seen people wanting to have ACTUAL weather, not just scripts that shove an animated clip of snowflakes down the screen.

Shaddup Lucifer. Saying it's unnecessary because you can script it means this whole game is on the grounds of being shut down. I for one like the idea. Support. (Modifers like weather intensity?)

@sidekick that would help greatly, in terms of aesthetics AND lag.

Support. Not tornados though. As an alternative use this model. It is amazing. http://www.roblox.com/Natural-Wonders-item?id=17523384

Support but not too much. TL;DR :D

tl;dr version: Implement a weather tool that does not have the hassle of scripting and looking through free models, but actual ROBLOX weather made by ROBLOX themselves.
