I think that an age group should be able to chat from a dictionary. I will tell everything in paragraphs. If something that the person says is not part of the dictionary, it doesn't show. Anything else in the sentence will show though. Anyone can add to this dictionary, but all words have to be approved by moderators that run it (maybe forum mods). This is to prevent words that shouldn't be allowed. The point of this would be to let younger people chat while also being safe. Parents on their emails would also be able to change the type of chat from safe chat, dictionary chat, and free chat. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Truth Troll! =D

This is a good idea. Support

I don't support, ONLY because people wouldn't be able to say things like "Lol", and if they made a spelling mistake it's ruin the sentence.

800imawesome, it could be just the word that gets taken out, and it's a huge improvement on the current safe chat.

There are pros and cons to this, and I know because I played a Disney game where it had this exact feature. Actually, there's only one upside, as I see it. That is the fact that it would be literally impossible to effectively cuss. However, there are downsides, the most major of which is the fact that everyone would have to use 100% correct grammar, which even I don't feel like using all the time. This idea isn't bad, but it needs some work. People need to be able to use leet speak, because ROBLOX is a chatroom; not a school.

But then they could be able to find words that is in the dictionary that's mature and not mature enough for children. - The world is yours chicho, and everything in it. -

@Recruitsoldier Good point with the con. Maybe, if the word isn't added, it just asks if you made a spelling mistake and if you want to double check. Also, the pro you pointed out is really the reason I suggested this. It would probably cut from people seeing those inappropriate games more often, thus cutting them down. I know, though, that this idea isn't completely going to be effective, but makes some people happy and does stop people from using numbers and letters to curse. However, some people would enjoy cursing, but they can only really do that with free chat. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Truth Troll! =D

@buck10me That's why I think you should read. "but all words have to be approved by moderators that run it (maybe forum mods). This is to prevent words that shouldn't be allowed." There. I quoted myself. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Truth Troll! =D

No support. A white list is to prevent words that shouldn't be allowed. If moderators would pay attention to the chat perhaps they would block more words, if you would like some words to be blocked I suggest messaging them.

@1337DevilAvenger You do realize that this is only for an age group, according to my quote: "I think that an age group should be able to chat from a dictionary." It is for, maybe 12 year olds or something? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Truth Troll! =D

Whatever it won't affect me I'm 13+ and my parents don't care what I do with my ROBLOX account. So Netural Support. - The world is yours chicho, and everything in it. -

"Anyone can add to this dictionary, but all words have to be approved by moderators that run it (maybe forum mods)." You lost my support around there. Why? Because imagine how many words will fly in, and then go find out how few forum mods there are. ~>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0FxZUrIB5M<~

@jacob726 Fair point. I don't think that Roblox would hire new people for this though. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Truth Troll! =D

I'm 12, and maybe an idea we should add to this is slang. You can add words like "cuz" and "lol" to the dictionary, because it's common for users to say that. I don't like to always type in complete grammar, especially when I'm with my friends.

@Buc This idea took effect as a whitelist system, so it's not really a dictionary anymore. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Truth Troll! =D

It affects me because my age is lower than 13 but I removed the privacy policy with my e-mail. It's pretty annoying. They really made 13+ people different from 12-. Maybe I'll change my age soon.

And 85% of people on here can't use grammar/know what it is? Okay, that means we won't be able to understand anyone, awesomr...
