Alright, this may or may not be 'help', but I'd like people to post real quick what games/game genres they like to play. I really want to make a game, but I have NOOooOooOO Idea what to make.

Well, most of the time, people like to play shooting games. I, personally, like fighting games. Also, people like to fight too. :)

I like first person shooters, they take a long time to make but if you put a lot of work in it it could be great

No problem. I was thinking something along the lines of... Top-down adventure shooter. With Co-op/Competitive multiplayer as a bonus.

Make an amazingly large landscape and let fight on it, it will be a war between two groups game, and you'll be able to own some points in the map like if there was a blue team tower, the red team will kill all the blues in it, and get it. Do the same with caves, large forest tree houses (Baobab trees are a good idea), sky bases (large airplanes and stuff). Don't tell me you can't, it's possible if you really want to. Do you have BC? If yes it'll be easy to get people to play it. Make it a mega server and make good ads. I can make the ads for you, i'm good with ads.

I made a FPS and it gets decent visits. Try an FPS or a simulator.
