So, I don't believe I've seen this around here, and if it has been posted before, I apologize. This thread will be getting deep into detail about how this idea would work in the end.
The idea in question, is the ability to create, run, and distribute prizes for a ROBLOX contest, but one made by users in general. Let's get into detail on how this could be a great way to get known, make money, and be scam-free all at the same time!
There would be a page called Contests, which, if you check, was removed, but it is user-made.
It would work like the Games page: Whatever contest has the most entries, is displayed first. It's in order of Favorites and Entries.
All contests are based on building, scripting, and retexturing. You can refine your search for contests by selecting what category you are looking for. Now, here's where things get technical.
To create a contest, it costs 50 robux. Simple. In the Contest Creation Page, you are prompted to add a name for your contest, a description, and a thumbnail supplied by you. You are given a slot for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes which can include limiteds, tickets, robux, or any combination of the three. The prizes are displayed on the contest so you can see if your signing up for something that's worth it. The prizes come from the contest creators inventory.
You are also prompted in the contest page to add an end date for the contest. No start date, as soon as it is created it starts, because people can get a head-start while waiting for it to begin.
While the contest goes on, people add their submissions and wait. On the contests page [Similar to a games page or a groups page, all information about that one contest is there], you can see all the current submissions. Next to each submission is a Play [If it's a game], Take [If it's a model], or View [If it's a retexture] button, as well as a Vote button.
That's something I never quite described: To win the contest, you must vote! Get the most votes and you win. You don't have to submit to the contest to vote, anyone can. This gets the community more involved. The submissions on the contest page can be ordered according to Recently Added [Up or down], Most Votes, or Random. That way, you can get a variety of entries and nobody feels left out.
When the contest is over, whatever top 3 has the most votes get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd automatically by ROBLOX. The prizes are distributed and the contest page closes automatically and the winners are displayed there.
On your profile, similar to badges, is a list of Contests Won, which displays a mini version of the contest thumbnail with the caption "First Place", "Second Place", or "Third Place"
