Two quick ideas I had for place-to-place teleportation.
Idea 1: Teleport "Back"
The basic gist of it is that you start off in Place A, and then teleport to Place B. After playing in Place B for awhile you decide you want to go back to Place A. With this feature you could just teleport back to Place A from inside Place B instead of navigating through the site without using a teleporter that the place's creator had added.
This could be achieved in a variety of ways, whether as an icon in the standard player HUD or a new button in the escape menu.
If this idea really caught on then perhaps you might eventually be able to teleport to any of the 5 or so most recent games you had played based on your "Recently Played Games" panel.

Idea 2: Teleport only places
This one is sort of a "Title explains all" idea.
You have a place, but you only want people to be able to get there by teleportation.
This could be useful for multi-place game series where you want people to play the games in chronological order. The only place that they could access from the site would be the first one and then they would have to play the games in order to get to the others.
"But then couldn't I just add a teleporter to my place that leads to the last level?"
I was thinking that maybe Teleport Only Places could have a permissions panel similar to those of personal servers that dictate who can and cannot link teleporters to the respective place.
And there was something else I had thought of for this idea, but I cannot remember what it was. I suppose I will put it in a reply if it comes back to me.

#1 - All it would take is a small memory cache that contains the address of the place I teleported from. Not hard to do at all.
#2 - All that is required here is to remove the "Play" button and slap a new tag on the thumbnail similar to Mega Place and Personal Server tags. |
