Nowadays many former's have high post counts, but that doesn't mean they post helpful or useful threads. Many high post count former's just spam to get more posts. But if ROBLOX added "Community Points" that would be different. Users would be rated on their contributions to the ROBLOX forum or just the ROBLOX community in general.
How it would work:
This would be a point based system where you can receive or lose points depending on what you have done in the Roblox community. Some actions would add points while others would take them away. Here are a few examples:
Things that would add points:
1. Reporting inappropriate games, threads, or comments
2. Reporting spam
3. Offering suggestions
4. Helping other users
5. Getting favorites on models and places
Things that would subtract points:
1. Making inappropriate games, threads, or comments
2. Getting a ban warning
3. Getting a ban
4. Being mean to other users
These points would appear under a user on each of their posts on the forum, and would appear on their profile like this:
Profile views: 58902
Place visits: 384
Community points: 197
If this was added ROBLOXians would want to be good so they can gain points. This would encourage everyone to be more helpful, spam less, and report inappropriate things. If this idea was added it would improve the community as a whole.

Bob the "kids" of ROBLOX are mostly safechatters, so it wouldn't concern them. |

If you get a certain number of points you could get a badge or badges.
And if you get extremely high you could possibly win a hat.

Its the same as rating games, kids will be sad because they think they have a good idea then they find out they lose a point because its against WNTS or something...
Doesn't matter, and half the kids aren't safe chat.

I love this idea!Support!It should be added and a suggestion.If you get negative points I mean points with - (ex: -10) you get warnings and things like that.And wait,a new created account starts with... points? I think news accounts should start with 10 or 20 points. |

Who do you expect to moderate this?
The Roblox users? - Good luck.
The Staff? - Are overflowed with work as it is, it would take a month to get a point...
Gnomes? - There are not enough of them. |

But then you would lose them and your rating would go down. Let's just stick with hats and badges. |

If you make a legitimate report than you would automatically get points.
If you got a ban or warning you would automatically lose points.
That's how it would be moderated.
As for the helping users and suggestions forum moderators could have a power to give points.
