I love ROBLOX.
I love to code, build and play games with my friends.
This is, until 2011. There was an awful exploit where people could open up my game in studio and do whatever they wanted. It took 6 months to patch, but finally got patched.
I enjoyed ROBLOX again until 2012. An exploit called CoreES would let users speak scripts. This was awful. My games were getting exploited left, right and center. After a month, it was finally patched.
Here we are again, and CoreES is back but better than ever (or worse).
It is much more effective and my strongest code cannot prevent it. Scripters simply do not have the tools needed anymore to fight off these exploiters.
What I'd need:
-Access to connection IPs
-Access to all chat messages, even those that are filtered for words against rules
-Players to not be able to speak while connecting to a game
-A LOT of Coffee.
I have NONE of those utilities. I have done my best but without those tools I'm out of luck. I've shut off my PMs to stop the barrage of "Reopen your games please".
ROBLOX, it's time for you to do your job. I'm tired of having to be the ones to release antiexplotis. The past few years I have had to make an antiexploit for every exploit, whilst you guys took forever to patch it. I'm not being cruel, but this was a truth.
Please, just drop everything else and patch CoreES.

May i say its not only CorES. There is also Level 1 - 7 most common being level 4.
Basically they are access to robloxlocked things. And can unrobloxlock things and edit things and open studio etc. |

Suppose to be Level 1 - 7 which have access to more and more stuff being 7 the most. Apparently alot of the exploiters use Level 4 |

Know what's stupid about roblox a lot of the bigger games have patches where whenever you open up cheat engine while WoW is even up it sends the user to a disconnect screen telling them to turn off the cheat engine to return to play but Roblox is a lot the money and little quality |

Not calling anyone out, but it's mostly those who really like to be the "vilans" of the game. I'm not going to lie, I have used CoreES, and a .dll, but they're not even worth the time, ruin the game for what? They use something called "StealthEdit" which lets them use the NoClip codes. Source: SilentCowz. I've also learned that some exploiters use IP Shadowing (From a friend of mine). It's not worth any of the trouble. |

I agree, however access to things like chat messages will go against robloxian's privacy. Also I don't think they are allowed to give IPs away. |

Scripters can already access all of your chat messages. How is it a privacy issue, if everyone else can see it ingame?
The thing is, when they speak, if they say a bad word, the scripts are not sent that. However CoreES doesn't care what they say and runs the code.
So
print("bad word") --Evil code here
Will run that code and my game can't even recognize that they've said anything. |

If you want to patch it faster, just get a copy of the program itself and use it to figure out how it works and what can stop it. It's not that hard. >-< |
