[About]
I've put a lot of thought into this idea called "Machines of War", and being to start laying out things on paper, something I rarely do.
So lets get straight to what this game is about :
"Machines of War" is basically a war tycoon with morphs that represents the players.
Boring and free model sounding right? Wrong, its a newer type of "tycoon" where you the player will not only have to defend it but also attack the other player's "tycoon"s in order to win, so yeah sound like another mindless sit and wait tycoon game right?
Wrong again, there is no money dropper no wait till cash things that some games use, no, this game FORCES the player to move around the battlefield in order to gain more currency. (How to gain it will be explained later on.)
Morphs.. ugh sounds like free models and lame stuff right? Wrong again! Geez think will ya?, The morphs in-game represents the what "machine" of war your using, either it be a tank or humvee all the other players will get to see it too, each morph has a set amount of speed, firepower and load capacity that can be upgraded. (Explain later on)
There won't even be any buttons in this game for the tycoons! Its all GUI related for the tycoon, meaning its easier to use and user friendly. Win win.
[Gameplay Features]
FPS and third person modes for most of the vehicle morphs.
Up-gradable vehicle morphs and bases.
Better physics for the vehicles.
More realistic special effects for firing and exploding things, including usage of DynLight.
Dust/dirt clouds for some vehicles.
CFramed terrain for maximum realism.
Sounds for the vehicles, and for every weapon.

Sounds simple right? It ain't THAT simple coding wise...
Don't worry, Its still pretty simple though for the little things.. :3
As you remember from my older project, the structures were a good idea... So I'll still use em, might though change a few up..

I didn't say SCRIPTING was simple, I meant the layout of the game...
Where you have complex details... that's where the difficult scripting comes into play.
Hope you can pull it off. :P
But yeah, I'm making a nuclear bomb survival game/guide that should teach people with a fun game. :)
But the thing is, ROBLOX cannot handle miles of land... so I'm making everything 5x smaller.
The problem now is that ROBLOX has this... cutoff point where nothing renders. It's about 6,000 studs. So if you were 6,000 studs from impact, you wouldn't see anything. -_-
Now I'm thinking about a randomly generated post bomb simulation. (Yes, every aspect should be covered)
So, if you decide on making this game HUGE, remember: There is about a 6k stud camera cutoff. :l
