When you receive a message a box could pop up at the Left of Right bottom part of the Screen and in that it could say:
You received a Message from [NAME HERE]
Received: 15:35 24th May
Also this could include a ping noise or something, maybe you could customize the noise via a Custom Uploaded Noise or Roblox's Defaults.
This could help people realize they have a message, sorry if this belongs in S&I but they are very inactive at this time.
