Unfortunately, people who actually want to make legit comments will suffer if comments are removed, but as of right now it is the only thing that can be done because spammers will just find ways to bypass the spam filter if one gets added Support

As people create ways to bypass a filter, it can be updated to block the new bypassings. ~>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzuaZR52cXo<~

@Jacob You just don't get it. Regardless if it's 'updated' the spammers will find the bypass, make their posts, use a spambot, and be done. You won't win that battle. - thedestroyer115

Eventually they will run out of ways inwhich they can spam, and a form of spell/grammar-check in the comments to catch random crud like "AAAwBBBwBBBw(dot)CCCsDDDtEEEuFFFfGGGf(dot)HHHcIIIoJJJm" and enforce certain things would help even more. ~>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzuaZR52cXo<~

You mean comments in general? Well... we can go ahead and permanently remove the comments from the Catalog, but for games.... ehhh that's a different story. Truthfully we all see the comment section filled with advertisements. However, that doesn't mean EVERY comment is taking the same idea. Just like S&I; players would examine the game's potential, and write a review on it regardless if it was good or bad. That way, the creator can make adjustments to/refurbish the gameplay to make it even more entertaining and playable as it is. Without feedback, there's really nothing to be done about the game, and the creator will begin to lose interest as less players play their game. We don't see that, but it's there.

"@TheNeg You're assuming that PMs are useless." >I never said that. I didn't even say if they had to use PM's. I just think that we should keep them for awhile longer. You're taking a perspective where you wouldn't even care, so why would you?

There's no reason at all for comments besides discussions that you're suppost to have in-game and warnings that never are read. - thedestroyer115

"@Chance If you really had a brain, you would see that we made posts only two - three seconds apart. So it would be impossible for me to switch to an alt." You said "I am," So, Apparently i do not have a brain, But you said you did use him as an alt, Plus the fact that you could have more than one computer side by side.

Where did I say that? Also, notice I say 'we' and not 'I.' Your argument is invalid.

TheNegitivitron is right. Why do you care so much if you won't even bother to look at the comments for yourself? Your concern for this is impractical and simpleminded. Simple: Don't look at the comments.

I agree that the comments are used as spam but just get over it. If someone really cared if the item is fake or not they will search through the comments until the find out If they want to know how the hat or gear looks like or what it does, that is what catalog heaven is for.

"There's no reason at all for comments besides discussions that you're suppost to have in-game and warnings that never are read." >But there is still so much more to it then you think. You can even say these posts are an example of comments too. The comments posted here is not as any different then to the comments you post on games and on items. Lots of irrelevant content is sent here, but that doesn't mean we're any better than those users who abuse the commentary for their own satisfactory. Honestly it would be better to just remove it and leave it as that, but how about for the people who really spoke with a true opinion? Those people who actually put a liable and relevant review for the creator to read? Look, I don't mind if the commentary is removed for all I care. But you must have an alternate solution; a clean slate. We can't just remove the only source of public communication without anything to back it up. Users abused it, sure, but they also were able to divert other users out of games in case there was something bad about it. If the commentary is removed, were taking away this benefit as well as all feedback which would likely serve as a necessity for several creators. The community ruined it, and i'm certain you haven't changed their course of action because you destroyed their hive. We can all come to an agreement that; they have their ways around this, no matter how many options you take away from them.
