My idea would be a type of game that used to be very common and popular during "Old" ROBLOX, but is now viewed as a "dead" game genre, EXCEPT it would revolutionize it GREATLY.
The thing is, it would require very advanced scripting knowledge.
Unfortunately, I don't have it.
I WOULD tell you guys, but I'm afraid someone is going to take my idea, make it, and make a fortune out of it.
My cousin in Ireland has a bf, and her bf is actually a very good programmer.
There is a chance my cousins could come over with my cousin's bf this summer, but as the summer gets closer, that chance gets slimmer and slimmer.
If they do come over, maybe I could get my cousin's bf to help me with the game?
And, the idea looks to be very complicated to program, maybe out of ROBLOX standards.
But alas, this is just a game idea that I thought of, and hopefully, maybe one day, it will become a reality... |

Erm, that actually isn't advanced scripting at all...
Heck, I made one back in '09 myself. Worked great for the average scripting level at the time. So if I can script it, it isn't advanced.
And Shadow is right, people on Game Design have an awful tendency to proclaim to the community that they have some amazing idea that will change the way ROBLOX looks at the genre, then don't tell us the actual idea or concept itself.
It's as if you don't think the real Game Designers here have any number of surpassing ideas that shadow whatever you think up. Or that we have any intention of stealing anything you think is original.
We're here because we think a lot about games, not because we want to steal ideas. |

Rooz, do yourself a favour and look at a map of Europe, focus on where Ireland is located... Looking into their official language would do you some good too. |

I'm Irish, I've talked to him before, he speaks good English, but he has a bit of an accent, which is cool.
And, thye don't even speak the language "Irish" over there much anyone, it's really just English.

well, i guess it would be hard, because you'd have to script OUT all the new stuff |

It would actually be super easy. Just have a script that deletes the animate script on spawn and have decals on every studded block to make them have round studs. That's pretty much it for the old old ROBLOX lol.
From that information, ROBLOX hasn't changed that much in terms of looks for a while :D.
