Roblox has been making a-lot of money out of there BC options. Well many kids arent able to play because there parents wont let them download it. Roblox can fix that with my solution its just 5 words. Make Roblox for a console! You will make twice the money and the roblox population will increase. Please any moderator/admin respond i would like to make my dream a reality. |

I would like to see the math and given information you use to arrive at this conclusion.
I would also like to see all made assumptions.
I think it would be a loss of money, rather than a good investment.
ROBLOX just isn't a game that can work for a console.

ROBLOX is thousands of times more complex than Minecraft.
Minecraft consists of breaking and placing blocks, "crafting" tools and items, and slapping sheep. The typing involved is near-nil, with the only exceptions I know of being Command Blocks, signs, and enchanting via anvil.
ROBLOX is highly typing based, and highly multiplayer based.
I have seen no console game that is highly typing based; or anywhere near as complex as ROBLOX can be.

Here is the math and money assumption:
The copies will be 20-30 dollars each. That will make us a-lot of money plus some new players will buy BC, TBC, or OBC this will also add in the money.
Heres the population growth assumption:
So as you know i wrote “Most parents wont let there kids download Roblox” So if we have a console the kid might have that console and will go buy it.

It depends on what you mean by bringing it to the console.
If you mean doing what Minecraft did, no. jacob explains why.
If you mean taking the cartridge approach (that is to say make a game with a storyline with loose connection to the actual online game to get prizes and such), then it won't be likely, but it would be a better suggestion topic.

I know and i agree im not a Minecrafter eather i dont even like the game. Anyways maybe roblox can break it down and make it a little simpler to fit the console.

How about taking the highly famous games (with the gamemakers agreement, and some credit on the box for the game maker) and using them?
Like Apocalypse Rising, Battlefield, Swordfighting tournament... those sorts of things.

I wonder if all those places could be interconnected in some way to make a coherent storyline? Say Catalog Heaven could be training, The Conquerors could be the starting mission, then it transitions into Base Wars, which spirals into Apocalypse Rising, et al.

They could do it, but it would have to be made like the one for iPad. If they integrated that onto console I'd be willing to pay the money for it. |

It was just an example, but if you want a game series like that, it would be less a ROBLOX console port than a console port of After the Flash.

No support. For starters the old consoles are going to be replaced soon. The new consoles suck. And more work for roblox trying to link everyone together miserably. I want to see some figures and if you think about it putting it on at first will require a few things. Pay to play 5£ or something to get monthly BC just to go on the game and then extra fees for BC. After but no longer necessary. Details like this you didn't include in the origional thread so I suggest a repost. |

ROBLOX costing money for console but being F2P for computer and iPad wouldn't be fair. Perhaps a freeware game for Nintendo 3DS. Could be downloaded from the store for free. Circle pad could be panning, + control pad for movement and toouch screen for backpack managing and zooming. A less dumb idea than iOS... |

ROBLOX is currently being ported to iOS... They're better off to finish what they start before starting a new project... plus a lot of the XBOX/Playstation community are people that don't give for ROBLOX at all. |
