You could try something along the lines of "newcomer", etc, or use different spelling. Japanese/日本語: "Newbie": 新しいビ Atarashii-bi "New person": 新しい人 Atarashii-jin Newcomer: 新参者 Shinzanmono "N00b": ヌーブ Nûbu

Though NOOB in general is not a word. It was created by Americans in a little game called Warcraft.

Una persona nueva. A new person. I know some people say that noob does not mean new person. That's all I can think of.

Spanish/Español: Nuevob -But you'll always hear me say "nu3v0b" when talking Spanish. The best way to get n00b in your language is to take the word for "new" and add a B at the end.

Swedish/Svenska: Newbie: Nybj N00b: Nyb -But to make an equivalent to the double zeros, I'll say "ny8".
