Meelo's law. Plus, if you cannot script yourself, you will get no where.

@destroyer Although I agree that not contributing yourself will get you nowhere, Meelo's Law has no data to back it up + the fact that there are many games made by big teams. I say, down with Meelo's Law. Disregard females, acquire currency.

@GreenDay Have you ever seen Team Rudimentality complete a project? StudioMM is taking a few years too...

http://www.roblox.com/Slender-Season-place?id=114459901 It's still a WIP, but my team got 80% of it done in 2 days. Disregard females, acquire currency.

Okay, that's quite basic compared to something like an FPS. How many team members (scripters) were working on it?

2. And then I made the GUIs, my friend Drew made the graphics and my friend GuestCapone made the map. Disregard females, acquire currency.

And I know its basic, but remember it isn't finished. The complete idea is far more advanced, we just haven't worked on it in a while. I forgot the account credentials. ;_; Disregard females, acquire currency.

Okay, two scripters will succeed. Four to five scripters will likely not complete a project.

It depends on your organization, tbh. In this thread: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=99852072 I separate my team to work on different aspects of the game. Notice I have max 2 people in one aspect that involves code. Disregard females, acquire currency.

@Green Yes, but as Scripters, we are developers, and each developer has a different vision of the game. So that leads to problems.

Also notice I have a "project manager" there. If the PM makes sure he forces in HIS vision of the game to each developer, there should be minor problems. As well as that, I based my game off of a real game, so there isn't many issues with different ideas. Disregard females, acquire currency.

Then with the following details: Only two scripters. A project manager. A pre-made object that represents guidelines. I am positive it would succeed. Now, deviating from my other point, you need to learn Lua to be able to direct Scripters.

Yeah, you have a point there. Thats probably why the OP wouldn't be able to command a team anyway. Disregard females, acquire currency.

So I'm confused....greenday are you on my side or his side? And I am helping with the game alot. I will help with testing, building, and designing. And for both genres of a game I am deciding between I have a vision for both and I will tell the scripters what to script.....how would i need to know LUA to tell them what to script?

Due to not getting enough workers I am no longer hiring devs.

"how would i need to know LUA to tell them what to script?" That statement made me positively assured that this will fail/
