Science has essentially acted as a structure for many of the modern creations we have today, It's not necessarily about deciding a person's intelligence, It's an entire system divided into separate aspects to provide a system for research and categorization of various subjects. Neither Science nor Philosophy or "Art History" are entirely perfect and there's problems and controversy/division with all of those about something, however they all have their own positive benefits altogether and cer...

"We get about the same amount of holidays but we're smarter" The true intelligence of an individual depends on numerous factors, rather than just simply being a resident of a particular continent.

Well, the over-all connection of the words being utilized and the meaning of the sentence is much more important than the individuals intelligence level or age-group.

"How would I know if you're smart if you don't talk smart? You can't say you know everything but don't show it." Each person has their own degree of intelligence, It's unnecessary to try to show someone else this simply because the other person will never know the full extent.

"So I can say i'm the most intelligent person in the world but you'll never find out the truth because I don't need to give proof." My statement refers to the person's actual neurological and psychology development rather than simple claims from the person themselves alone, "UpbeatOfficer" wasn't claiming that he had an extremely high level of intelligence, he's simply stating that the information he knows about now is the information he currently needs.

"It's not a style just depends on how smart you are. If everyone could talk like you with low IQ then it would be a style." That's exactly the problem, if you really think that someone is condescending then simply consult the person, this offers verification and can prevent many potential problems. It's a style of communication because the person themselves develop and adapt it based on the knowledge they acquire, there's many "intelligent" people of various cultures who simply have int...

Each person has their own degree of "Intelligence". Receiving positive grades doesn't necessarily indicate the person's actual degree of intelligence.

"Im sure Anony can help you He (or she) is more intelligent than anyone else on OT." I'm certainly not the most intelligence person here as each individual has their own personal degree of intelligence. It's simply that different individual's have aspects of their intelligence divided up differently thus none of us are more intelligent than other user's in over-all knowledge.

It's entirely unnecessary to boast about it. A test is unable to measure the exact intelligence of an individual because only the individual themselves will truly understand their mental capabilities towards a specific aspect of their over-all intelligence well enough to utilize it for their own benefit.

My logic bomb still works and it bombin it up! :D" Actually, the quantity of "Neurons" involved certainly doesn't indicate a person's level of "Intelligence", It's the Neuron's capability to process the information and utilize it that determines this. Regardless, though, only the individual themselves will have a very accurate ...

"He's smarter than all of us put together." That's certainly not true. All individuals have a varying degree and capacity of intelligence simply because we are different genetically and thus perceive the world differently, there's plenty of subjects that other people are more proficient with than we may be, It doesn't make us inferior.

It's plausible that neither of us are showing our complete extent of intelligence and cognitive capabilities in this thread therefore it's unnecessary to minimize your own intellect.

Why not just ignore the negative responses you've received? None of the users on this website have actually met you outside of a screen nor do they have any complete knowledge regarding your personality or your actual level of intelligence. Additionally, there's absolutely nothing wrong with utilizing grammatical knowledge for beneficial purposes.

Ah yes, the typical argument regarding "Vocabulary" is equivalent to a significant degree of intelligence. If we consider the two categories of intelligence, "Crystallized"(The ability to memorize and recall information) and "Fluid"(The innate ability to reason logically independent of complete information.), It soon becomes apparent that although utilizing terms with greater complexity does not necessary indicate a greater degree of "Fluid" intelligence, It does indicate an increased degree of...

Essentially, all available "IQ Tests" are only capable of measuring the individual's quality of performance during the examination for said test based on a grouping scale. You cannot accurately rely entirely on a preset number to determine your own cognitive capabilities and usage of these abilities will revise their functionality greatly, without the need for "Intelligence Generalization".

Usage of proper grammar and English terminology ensures that you can convey the purpose of your statements efficiently. Why would you assume that an individual is attempting to convey their intelligence? Such an assumption could cause someone to believe that you are simply attempting to avoid constructing a proper argument during a debate.
