I've seen things that have gotten tons of support and haven't been implemented. I don't know why they even make a forum if they don't maintain it. And they say that they listen, but they don't give any type of feedback at all. How many things posted on S&I have actually been made?
After a certain number of replies (Maybe around 100), a moderator MUST read AND give feedback to the suggestion. Either saying this idea won't be done and lock the thread, or say that this is a good idea, and maybe make suggestions, or something.

The only way I can actually contact roblox is through info@roblox and appeals@roblox and BOTH of them say
"We have chose to ignore your mail. Please post this to suggestions & ideas instead even though according to your mail it appears you have already."
That's WORD FOR WORD from the mail! |

You need to be in S&I for a long time to see that in fact, they DO have a look.
Most updates have come from S&I, from dynamic lighting (since 2008, roblox is slow.) to the trade system (since 2008, roblox is slow.) to fire and smoke (2010 and 2011) to BC only games to TBC and OBC to the audit log to oh so many more.
They're just weird and slow and shy.
Besides, when seemingly half of the community are imbiciles who hate for no good reason, you'd not show your face.

They're taking it into consideration.
A "good" idea is not nessasarily an applyable one.
Remember also that roblox is slow.
Dynamic lighting and trading systems were suggested in 2008, and look when they got made. 2012.
And place-to-place teleportation was thought of since the dawn of roblox and made in 2012.
They're just really, REALLY slow.
They should speed up.

Frozen you do know their pretty common ideas, almost every online game has a feature or similar thing like that. The trade system, it's something 99% of all online games has, the BC games every online game has it where you can only visit a certain location or such. I'm pretty sure if people never suggested those things ROBLOX would have still made them. Even the fire and smoke they would have still made it, no matter if it was suggested or not. |

But most of what is implemented were things that were bound to happen eventually. Not from user's ideas, but from ROBLOX Staff's. The only huge update that I've seen that was created by a ROB LOX member was the one for Group Audit Logs, and even that took around a year to actually go into effect and had more than 1,000 replies to it.

From what I hear there's AMAZING ideas in 2006 that a user makes.
Then by 2013 an admin FINALLY thinks of it themself and add it.
The admins will never give in to the community. They might post "Good idea" on ones with lots of replies, and they might post "Yes" on ones titled 'Do admins really read suggestions?' just to make them look good but realy.
S&I is where it takes 1,000 replies and 365 days of existence for the admins to get around to implementing 1 idea on roblox since the entire creation of ROBLOX.
If we get banned for supporting, then the admins only do that because they don't like reading things they don't want to read. |

The only issue is that people will try to spam, saying, "38 MORE POSTS GUIS AND DA MODERATORS WILL READ!"
And actually, a lot of things have been implemented because of S&I.
-Personal servers
-Game cards
-TBC, OBC
-BC only games
-Trading
-Groups
-Enemies/Allies
-Catalog items
-Hair
-ROBLOXian 2.0 for everyone
-A body package for girls
-Mega servers
-Sets
Etc, etc.
Moderators are getting scarce and you do realize it's very difficult to read and post on every single idea, right?
I have seen moderators post on ideas. And sometimes no, but it doesn't mean they're not listening.

^ Oreo no one ever suggested ANY of those things, and catalog items, groups, sets and hair are things that has been here since the beginning of ROBLOX. Mega servers, Personal servers, BC games, Package for girls and Enemies and Allies is all things we never suggested. The only thing people maybe suggested was Enemies and Allies but not anything else. Even trading is a common sense idea, almost every online site has one so it wouldn't have mattered if we suggested it or not it would have still been made.
There are great ideas everyday on the forums, and if Moderators actually paid a little more attention to the forums ROBLOX would actually be BETTER. They will do whatever that makes them happy not us, it's no longer about the users, it's now just about money. |
