S turned to a control panel.
"Gate A-1, closed!"
No effect.
"Gate A-1, closed!"
Still no effect.
"It looks like they short-circuited the door", M explained.
"Short-circuited the door with their micrOTers?"
"Yes, so now it's stuck in an open position. By the way, how much more time do the cells need to merge now?"
"About three hours."
"This... Does not look significiant. Unless Ganymedes can do something, they'll be here within that time."
MagentaDelight tapped a door with a sign above it saying 'A-2'.
"This one's tightly closed, too! How many are there?"
"A whole infinity?" Jhgnomey said as an unnecessary response.
Neongoo51 shortly caught up with the remaining rest of the OTMF who were standing next to the door.
"Neongoo51, you should know what to do here", Kalyrian said to Neongoo51.
Neongoo51 just nodded, then put his headset on and loaded Akrylix into the capsule simultaneously.
"Akrylix, mobilize!"
"INJECT!"
Akrylix was sent into the door, but this time instantly to the top of it to make him to short-circuit the door quicker.
Akrylix was spreading his paint everywhere, making all wires and electronic parts inconductive, but still with little to no effect. Eventually he came across OTJuice. Once again, they attacked each other with no questions asked.
Just as Akrylix lunged at OTJuice with his paintbrush, she leapt off the ground and hovered far above him. After hovering for a few seconds, it charged downwards at Akrylix. Akrylix wasn't completely unprepared, as he raised his paintbrush and proceeded to swing it at OTJuice as it got closer. But OTJuice was going so fast that when Akrylix's paintbrush hit it, it broke.
Akrylix started to throw paint buckets instead. However, none of them hit because OTJuice was too agile in the air. OTJuice also proceeded to switch strategy, as she went from simply charging into Akrylix to charging into the ground, setting off a weak shockwave that made Akrylix lose his balance. While Akrylix was in out of balance, OTJuice charged right into him because he was defenseless.
Akrylix had to grow a new paintbrush to defend himself against OTJuice's charges when losing his balance. This turned out to be an ineffective method.
Upon swinging his paintbrush at OTJuice when she was charging at him, he knocked himself backwards into a wire by recoil and ended up getting fried by electricity.
Just as Neongoo51 thought it was over, another micrOTer showed up behind OTJuice and slashed her with a glowing rod, sending her into the wire as well.
She turned to Neongoo51.
"SEEMS LIKE YOU CAN'T DO THIS ON YOUR OWN", she said as she cut the wire with her glowing rod, short-circuiting the door and opening it.
All remaining OTers had entered, except for Neongoo51.
"I guess I'll need to use more micrOTers next time", he thought out loud. "Either that, or I'll need a better micrOTer."
"I'M A GOOD MICROTER, RIGHT?" LavaRuby asked when Neongoo51 was about to take his headset off.
"...I guess", Neongoo51 answered before taking his headset off.
He went through the door.
S moved over to one of the control panels.
"Gate A-2, closed!"
No effect.
"They're busting through our defenses faster than blue hedgehogs!" She continued.
"I'm sure Ganymedes will put a stop to them", M responded.
"Ganymedes? That machine might get short-circuited by micrOTers as well."
"I doubt it."
M turned to one of the monitors.
"Gate D is here, and Ganymedes is up there. Since Ganymedes is well hidden, they won't be able to notice it until it attacks. And Ganymedes doesn't attack until they're somewhere past gate C."
"Fine, I guess I'll just take your word for it."
"By the way, how much more time do the cells need to merge?"
"Let's see... About two and a half hours."
