Remember how I said that chapter 6 was probably the sloppiest chapter in the entire story? Scratch that, this one is.

"Does anyone have a crowbar?" Oshmoo asked as he looked up at the sign that said 'A-3'. "The doors are opened upwards, so we could force them up with a crowbar. At least it would be a quicker way to open it than using micrOTers!"
"Listen, it's about brains, not brawn", RainbowDash101 calmly responded. "I mean, even if we open the door a little with a crowbar, we still can't do anything after that to fully open it."
Neongoo51 got to the remaining rest of the OTMF before Oshmoo and RainbowDash101 got a chance to start an argument.
Kalyrian didn't even have to tell Neongoo51 what to do anymore. He just put his headset on and loaded LavaRuby into the capsule.
"LavaRuby, mobilize!"
"INJECT!"
Since the needle wasn't aimed downwards upon injecting LavaRuby, she was thrown head-first into a wall. Despite this, she got in unharmed.
While wandering around, LavaRuby was blasting hot air from the pipe on her back, melting several electronic parts. But it didn't have any major effects on the door.
Finally, she encountered Anikinis in the door, who instantly assumed LavaRuby's form. However, unlike in chapter 14, it didn't lose tons of energy from morphing. It successfully morphed into LavaRuby's form and kept it.
"HOW... HOW DID YOU MORPH INTO ME WITHOUT COLLAPSING?" LavaRuby asked out of surprise.
"MODIFIED!" Anikinis answered.
LavaRuby didn't want to think about 'modified', so she just attacked him directly.
LavaRuby charged at Anikinis with her heat fist, but was countered by the exact same thing. Even when blasting hot air from her pipe, Anikinis fended it off by blasting hot air as well.
LavaRuby leapt at Anikinis with her heat fist multiple times, but every time she did, her fist met his and was blocked. It was like Anikinis could read her every move she was going to make directly from her mind.
LavaRuby was starting to feel exhausted, but Anikinis could ignore any exhaustion because he wasn't sentinent. Instead, he just went on attacking the whole time.
Soon, LavaRuby was feeling too exhausted to refrain from complaining.
"NEON... I CAN'T... TAKE THIS... MUCH... LONGER..."
"If you're exhausted now, surely your enemy must be exhausted too!"
"HE... SHOWS NO... SIGNS... OF IT..."
Neongoo51 was just silent. He couldn't think of a solution.
LavaRuby paused to regain her breath.
"CAN YOU... SEND SOMEONE... SO... I CAN... TRY... GENETIC FUSION...?"
"But I don't even know how to do genetic fusion! Neither do you!"
"IT'S WORTH... A TRY..."
Neongoo51 ended up deciding against it.
Several minutes passed, and LavaRuby was just getting more and more exhausted. She ended up taking a few hits from Anikinis as she was getting too exhausted to defend herself. Anikinis was still showing no signs of exhaustion.
Finally, LavaRuby could not defend herself anymore, and ended up taking one hit after another.
When she was just about to pass out, someone tapped her shoulder and said "GROW THAT PIPE OUT OF YOUR BACK."
Since she was too exhausted to care about who it was, she instinctively grew the pipe out of her back, only to have the unknown micrOTer grab onto it and tap her on the shoulder again.
Suddenly, her pipe began to glow. As she slowly turned around, she found out that Hiloman was behind her and was glowing as she seemed to multiply into multiple parts. The symbols on their bodies began to glow, and a blinding flash burst out. LavaRuby and Hiloman were one, and they simultaneously said "IT'S OVER NOW."
Anikinis could not assume LavaRuby/Hiloman's form, so he had to stick with his current form. He kept blasting hot air, but LavaRuby/Hiloman's fakes were unaffected. They even went right through him and burned him on contact.
When Anikinis switched to using the heat fist, LavaRuby/Hiloman grew a rod glowing with heat out of their right hand. They looked like they were about to hit Anikinis with it a few times, but they really just faked him out. That was, until they appeared from behind and struck him with it.
LavaRuby/Hiloman cut a few wires with the rod and managed to short-circuit and open the door before splitting back into two with a flash.
"I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD DO GENETIC FUSION AS WELL", LavaRuby began.
"OF COURSE, ANYONE CAN DO GENETIC FUSION. I WAS JUST OBSERVANT ENOUGH TO KNOW HOW TO DO IT."
"WELL, HOW?"
"I'LL JUST KEEP THAT INFORMATION FOR MYSELF A LITTLE LONGER."
Hiloman leapt out of the door and went onward. LavaRuby felt a little angered over not getting to know how to do genetic fusion, but she decided to just get back to Neongoo51's box for the time being.
