I agree.
@all who say "Use voxels":
Voxels cannot be C-Framed; as such, you can't make hills and sloped roads easily.
@all who say "Use a texture":
Textures, if you zoom out as far as possible, get very noticeable outlines. Don't believe me? On a building game, build a home out of the "Brick" block in Basic Building, in the Stamper. Then zoom out to see the hideousness.
Good games that use C-Frameable blocks are phasing out to noobish games with Voxels. I started out that way, but an old user showed me a tool kit that uses regular blocks and now I've stopped using Voxels except for certain games. |
