No support. The new friend list will be MUCH more better than the current one, making it more modern, up-to date, and more organized. Right now I have 391 unaccepted friend requests since 2012, 2 years of not accepting a single friend request from the website. I like this new update, OP needs to get used to new updates. I mean who would just want to keep a friend on their page that they were friends since like 2007 and that player will never go back on anymore? For nostalgia? Are you kidding me? You are stupid. You don't know those players personally. Get used to Roblox's update. You are so full of nostalgia, Roblox is just getting modernised. Get it through your skull OP and all of you supporters of the topic. |

Support. They can add a follower feature and when they do you can select friends to be your followers which is 100% OPTIONAL |

After re-reading the blog post, I don't see what the problem is now.
First of all, your best friends become friends and friends become followers, so they're not "nuking" the friends lists, you can just set your true friends as friends when the update is live (given the limit of 200 friends).
Second of all, if you really need more than 200 "friends", you need to learn what a friend is, frankly. I've got 894 "friends" on my friend list right now, but I only consider about 1/40 of them as my actual friends (which is about 22). The rest I consider as lost "friends" or followers of my work.
Again, this is going off my re-read of the blog post.

Spongecardo, the thing is, both friends would have to be active.
So, what if you had an old friend, and one of you didn't have your friend status set to best friend? They'd be made a follower.
And worse: Devs would be marauded with spam messages.
They would either have to fill their friends list, or get messaged by anyone who took the time to follow them. I mean, what's the point? You can follow anyone. This is basically just putting a limit on a Dev's limiter for his messages, and taking away the slot for any real friends.
It's crap, it makes no sense, and they don't take into account many many things.
