Remember the Click-To-Walk circle thing that they took out sometime in 2011? Remember when they promised to bring it back but haven't? Yeah, I'll admit the thing was annoying sometimes, but it was the best thing for obbys. In fact, some old obbys are impossible now.
It had it's problems being the only choice at the time. BUT!!! It could be a GREAT addition to the character settings (right next to "classic" which is a lie and shift lock)
BRING BACK A CLASSIC FEATURE AND MAKE IT OPTIONAL! |

Oh god, remember those obbies with the invisible floors? That was my favorite thing back when I joined. I miss it, too.
It'd be a nice feature to have back, but I can't support this. Scripters can just add a pathfinder if they wanted this back in their game.

I swear I saw a value in one of the properties of StarterPlayer which allowed you to use "Click-To-Walk".

No, you can't script a setting. If it becomes a setting, EVERYONE can use it ANYWHERE. You're not gonna see a 2010er come back from the dead to add it to his game. This will fix a TON of obbys without having to update the place. |

I always wonder why people bother touching on a subject that they barely understand.
This is just like a suggestion I saw that asked roblox to add a universal sprinting feature. I'll say this the same way, If someone wants it in their game, they can make one.
You can make a "click-to-walk" feature in your individual game. Just add an intangible brick wherever the user clicks, and set that as a pathfinder. As far as old obbies, I don't see why you would want to play it if you think it's broken.

Yes there is a enum in starterplayer that's value is ClickToMove, but i switched the enum to ClickToMove and it didnt work |

HOWEVER...
Most if not all of the in-game things you see are actually scripted by ROBLOX using their own plaform. All of the GUIs can be replicated by players, minus locked settings.
That means that it is entirely possible for a player to remake this feature. |
