Delete groups with ® and ™ that impersonate RL companies, make a rule preventing these types of parody groups from being created

Many groups on ROBLOX with ® and ™ are impersonating real life companies such as Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks and even adding trademark symbols onto their name. Many of them copy their logo as well.
These actions are against the ROBLOX Rules of Conduct, are trademark infringement, and are illegal. They also put ROBLOX at great risk of getting sued. Much worse than circle studs

People can use the DevEx to cash out profits they make from sales of these parody groups. This is one thing that companies, especially Starbucks, use when suing, and people/companies have been penalized for it

Many of these companies being impersonated, including Starbucks, have a history of suing other companies and even specific people for using their logo and name. Since ROBLOX is such a big company, it is an easy target

I remain neutral.
Yes, Starbucks does have a history of suing companies and people for using their logo and name, but keep in mind, companies. Companies and people that are trying to make money off of counterfeit Starbucks products.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure group sales go into the group funds, and group funds can only be spent on advertising, adding more ranks, etc. It's not possible to cash out money in group funds, so the owner of Starbucks is not cashing out with money made from group sales.
If anything, these types of groups are promoting business for the actual companies. Starbucks and other big companies only sue when another company or person is ruining business by using logos and trademarks to sell counterfeit items.

True, but many members have items related to their group that aren't group items, meaning they get the money.
Gamepasses are one such thing.
Also, not allowing replies to a post doesn't do anything if it's not the original post. |
