[ Petition ] Remove "Jew" from the Chat Filters

As of now, chatting the word "Jew" in a game will result in a "[ Content Deleted ]" on the chat GUI. Banning the name of a religion is offensive, especially considering other religions such as "Christianity" and "Islam" are not banned. I call upon Roblox to remove the word "Jew" from the Roblox Chat Filters. Please sign your name if you support this change.

@infortality I recognize your point, but is it fair that you can call somebody of the Christian faith a Christian but not somebody of the Jewish faith as a Jew?

But it also has its negative connotations which sadly people bring up. I think this was one of the reasons it was filtered. I understand your concern but at this point there is no other sensible reason to change what has already been put in place. "Jewish" is perfectly fine and in more ways then not the more appropriate way to define their culture and religion. Though there are negative connotations involving the nickname, "Jew," used by some for derogatory purposes, I still stand by the fact that it has religious value. If Christianity/Christian and Islam pass the filter, there shouldn't be a problem with allowing, "Jew," as well.

@TimeTicks, I understand where you're coming from in that "Jew" could be misused as a derogatory term similar to "g@y". In this context, however, you could use a plethora of words to be hurtful. For example: "You're a dirty [Insert Political Party Here]" While a subcategory of politics carries no negative value, anybody could treat it as having a negative connotation. In this regard, words like "su.ck" and "g@y" should also be allowed. It is up to us as players to report improper and hurtful uses of these words and report them to moderators.

No support. It will be used as an insult, and since ROBLOX wants to avoid that at any costs, they should keep it banned. You could say "jewish" or something, as that isn't used as an insult. Stupid timezones.
