That's some good ish right there |

I believe I got Irvine next, didn't apply to Santa Cruz, and IDK if UC Santa Barbara came before or after UCLA/UCB, but it wasn't in the middle of those too.
You'll definitely be accepted to Irvine/UCSB/UCSC. |

@Tiny
Yeah, and I only really care about Davis/UCSD rn, I'd probably choose Davis over all 3 of those. It's just for pride at this point. I got invited to the Chancellor's Reception for UCSB so that's all but guaranteed. |
Got accepted to SDSU but denied to UCSD. Waiting on Cal UCLA and Irvine now |

Awww no worries though Silent. SDSU is a very good state school and imo the best state school. |

Yeah SDSU is one of the best CSU's, 34% acceptance in 2015. Cal Poly is #1 but SDSU is a solid case for #2. |

UC San Diego Estimated Cost: $31,000 a year
Estimated Financial Aid: $13,000 a year
Estimated Total Costs: $18,000 a year
Not too shabby |
Is it bad that I'm looming at potentially $34k a year? |

How much are you getting in grants? |
It's 34 after 16k in scholarships... |
They won't give you a full ride for playing football? |
Feels kinda odd that I haven't received my FAFSA/financial aid from Texas/Texas A&M/Texas Tech yet |

At the UC Santa Barbara chancellor's reception in LA today, they announced that invites were sent to the top 15% of the applicant pool (out of more than 82,000). #FeelsGoodMan |

Well, that's pretty much another admission then, congrats jimbob |
Are you kidding me? Iowa State gave me almost $16,000 in financial aid plus another $2500 in work study, Arizona is giving me $14,500 per year with eligibility for more grants, and work-study and Texas Tech only wants to offer me >>>$900<<< in financial aid with no work-study options? Go to hell Texas Tech. Worthless piles of ####### #### |

UC Santa Cruz decisions come out tomorrow...they already released their admission statistics, 46.5% acceptance rate.
It was 58.4% last year!
UCs getting tougher to get into, each UC is getting 10,000+ more applicants this year than the previous year, I'm willing to bet Davis admission rate will be lower this year (42.3% last year) and perhaps San Diego as well (35.9%) |

Looking back on my essays, I'm actually really pleased with them. Think I was unique in my topics and did a good job showing my honesty. |

Wne would be a great school, but the tight-knit community is a bit of a turn-off. High school has been an utter failure for me, and I think I'd rather go to a big school where I don't exist. |
