RDS used to be called ROBLOX Exploit Protection, but recently the group responsoble for maintaining it changed, and became RDS (Roblox Developer Services) and since I didn't like the update they made to the new script, I decided to remove it from my game, then I got this message the following day: [[[ Hello, this message was sent to you to let you know that you have been banned from all games protected by ROBLOX Developer Services as an administrator has determined that you have decided to terminate your subscription to RDS. You will nomlonger able to join any game with RDS installed. Unfortunately, you will not be able to file an appeal to your ban. ]]] Firstly, I know that they can use trello to keep track of all the people currently using their script. That's how they saw I removed my copy. My issue is, taking users hostage and forcing them to use your script else they will be banned from places that RDS is "Protecting" (But they more or less just hijacked those places for their personal benefit" Personally I think their organization is a big detriment to the basic well-being and a threat to every user's right to visit places under the behest of the ROBLOX administration itself and not by a cleverly manipulative group. It should only be at ROBLOX's own discretion or the place creator's decision to be able to selectively exclude people that they do not want visiting their place. Now with RDS, your place traffic is under the control of a backdoor company.

Wait what. So by no longer using a script in your own place, you've been banned from joining completely unrelated games that use the same script? How is that even allowed on Roblox?

Never even heard of RDS. Sounds like another one of those elitist clans that take roblox too seriously like RAT did back when nobody would shut up about them. Cheap RAT knockoff?

Not really since it's banning you from unrelated games for not using their script. So roblox admins need to punish them hard for this. "Don't worry, Carrots. I'll let you erase it... in forty-eight hours."

And the fact that you can't view its source is quite suspicious. "Don't worry, Carrots. I'll let you erase it... in forty-eight hours."

It may not be ethical, but it's definitely allowed. They're knowingly putting the script in their game; that script can do whatever it wants. I can ban any of you from my place with a script. I can then distribute that script to anyone, banning you from their games. It isn't against the rules.

It still isn't justified. "Don't worry, Carrots. I'll let you erase it... in forty-eight hours."

Why wouldn't it be? It's the owners' choice to decide if they want the script or not.

That is the issue with roblox. If someone circulates their model around, then they have full power over the games that have it. However this kind of discrimination should be looked at by the staff.

This is kind of disturbing considering ROBLOX's way of branding. "Play millions of games made by online users". This loader has been taken by 10k+ not to mention the in-studio users whose copies were not recorded by ROBLOX's sale counter. What else is oppressing, is I once had a shared game that had RDS and I got multiple complaints of being 'banned'. Wondering why these were coming up, I snooped through files of code and such. They're script gives common admin commands (I know not really a shocker) but they hide their banned list. They have a huge ban list of all banned members from previous games. This is hurting ROBLOX's outlook on their free virtual platform. Allowing teenagers/kids to make administration decisions, and banning from games around ROBLOX. Support Forumer - I Program Things -

It is completely understandable for people to take the rsik of placing models/scripts made by someone else at their place. But banning people from totally unrelated games simply because whoever made the model dislikes them for one reason or another without the owner's knowledge is unethical. Not to mention this can and WILL hurt ROBLOX's place traffic, which they certainly wouldn't like.

So wait a second, if you remove the RDS script from your game, you then get a message stating that you can't join any games using that script? "you can't join any games using that script" Report this to ROBLOX, seriously.. This just ruins "Play millons of games created by users". RDS is probably just some 11 year olds try to get attention.

What makes things worse is that they are selling "donation" merchandise to money on the side and people actually buy them. Also, their format makes it LOOK like they are a part of ROBLOX, the name itself - "ROBLOX Developer Services" is incredibly misleading. Not to mention, take note of the message format that I mentioned in my first post, that it is incredibly similar to something that the ROBLOX Company's mods/admins will say. The last time I checked, impersonating the staff is a huge offense. https://www.roblox.com/Groups/Group.aspx?gid=2580593
