Hello Citizens of Firestone,
I am PatrickBARblx14, and I'm running for a seat in Firestone State Senate. After watching Firestone grow from a few tweets on Twitter to 7.5k members in 2 weeks, I think this group has real potential, and even more potential with me as YOUR Senator. As your senator, I plan to do my job and my job only. I'm not a politician. I could run for mayor, or a county executive, but I've always been interested in the Senate. Some of my opponents are experienced with the senate in ro-nations and it's something I respect. But they are politicians who are not presenting a platform I can support. Some Politicians are known to be fake, and untrustworthy. I am not a politician.
I stand for the freedom, and rights of everyone when I can prove those are in jeopardy I fight to defend them. I want to promote job creation, private sector business growth, and most importantly peace, harmony, and prosperity for the entire state of Firestone. I fight for the right to bear arms and know that in a world like this, all law abiding citizens should have firearms. I am running to be a Senator because I believe that ideas are better looked at before rejected. I think we should be providing a fair, equal, and realistic chance to everyone that desires to pitch ideas. My agenda is one focused on Job, Economic, and Proactively inspired growth. I want to provide not just domestic ideas prosperity but all ideas. I am running with my dedication, passion, energy, and philosophy that what is right is what we pursue, and I make no exceptions as I provide my talents, and experience to benefit citizens like you.
【OBTAINABLE LEGAL WEAPONS】
My agenda includes passing legislation providing you the citizens both the protection of limited gun laws but also peace of mind to ensure no one has a gun in their hands unless they have been background checked and have no major felonies. Well on my plan I would propose a bill that would prohibit major felons, or suspects who have been proven guilty in a court of law to a felony not to be able to purchase or own a firearm for 2 weeks. Owning an illegal weapon with a suspended gun license will be a felony and result in consequence. However if it is decided gun’s are outright illegal when held by citizens I will not place attention on the issue in that case.
【SMALL BUSINESS GROWTH】
I want to promote legislation I am referring to as the Business, Start up, and Creation Act that will promote, and invite citizens to provide ideas for new start up businesses in our very own soil, and cities. This proposal is meant to provide fair, consistent, and equal opportunities to pitch, propose, and provide citizens like you the chance to receive resources from the Firestone State Government for a 2-3 month long period to grow, expand, and create a reputation before we leave your startup business to become 100% part of the private sector. This is not only realistic, logical, and fair it’s different from anything existent in another state in roblox. This bill will be put into effect when I am elected, and will work with the Secretary of Commerce on proposing and writing the bill.
【LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING】
I want to promote a bill I like to call the Police, and Citizen Protection Act. This is a bill that will require a more thorough training process for law enforcement to avoid, and prevent situations of citizens being charged, and framed falsely under the law because law enforcement placed bias into their stories. I also want to enforce a requirement that all officers in our law enforcement be given a strict, difficult, and intense test’s to become a police officer after finishing the Peace Officers Standards and Training academy, (POST). I want to provide cops with higher expectations for behavior, and attitude when interacting with citizens. Their job is not to be scary, it is to help you which is why I am promoting this program.
【LEAVING/ SWITCHING DEPARTMENTS】
I will propose a bill that will limit but help members of departments such as State Police or the Fire Department. Workers of departments may not continuously leave, or change departments. The 1 department rule (which is already in effect) will be stretched meaning that you may not change or join new departments for at least 2 months after joining the department you are in, and must either stay in the department you are in for 2 months or remain in no departments until the 2 month period is over. National Guard members may be discharged out of the national guard after 1 month, which makes this the only department you may leave and join a new department in 1 month.

Excuse me as well might I correct that both the House of Representatives, and Senate have in recent times used the term Bill, Item, Legislation Item, and proposal's to identify legislation being proposed. #Getyourfactsbeforeyourattacks. |

If the HOR or senate declares citizens may not use guns I will not attempt to reverse that decision as that is the decision made but I will fight to give citizens guns. If you want more details feel free to pm me or keep posting on this forum. |

Also, the POST academy process, by my understanding, is already a rigorous process to complete. If you've read the POST academy informational forum, it goes into detail on the days (of which there are 5) that, in total, span to 10 1/2 hours in total of informational instruction, qualifications, and application of the material learned. Given, it's not perfect as there is no community relations portion mentioned in the POST forums. But it seems like what you're proposing to do for law enforcement training is already in effect. It just seems like a mute point to me.
