If you go on a popular game and check the comments, you will see countless amounts of "Go on this website to get free robux: scam.randomword." I'm sure all of you have posted forums about this, but you guys are just saying to remove the comments. But really, they can't. They can't just remove the scam comments. Something or someone is creating spam accounts and commenting on every front page game about these scams. Heck, it's guaranteeingly multiple people creating those accounts and commenting these scams on a daily basis. And Roblox can't just terminate/ban those accounts, because there's so many, and it's too much work, even for every employee in the company. But fear not, I have an idea, that might just work, but probably not, because I have a small brain. Now, the scam accounts were most likely, if not are created by spam bots. Now if you don't know what spam bots are, they're basically, I can't describe it, but... things... that automatically create multiple accounts. Yeah. Those. But, onto the topic, if you know like how when you are creating an account on some other sites like ##### or something, it tells you to type in the characters above, and above where you type in the characters, it displays an image of the characters you are supposed to type in. What it does, is because it's usually random characters, and because it's an image, the bot can't guess the right answer. Or maybe I'm an idiot that doesn't know anything. All I know, is that when creating an account on different sites, that thing pops up, so it can prove you're not a bot. However, this probably isn't always going to work, and some bots can slip through the cracks. So, i have possibly another solution that might work. Actually no, it probably won't. But, worth a try. Now, every Roblox account has to have a verified email in order to send messages, post forums, and leave comments right? If multiple scam accounts are linked to an email, you got the spammer's email. What now? I don't know. Also, the spam bot can just make multiple emails and use that to... OKAY JUST USE MY FIRST IDEA! IT WON'T WORK COMPLETELY, BUT IT WILL HELP US FIND SOME ACTUAL COMMENTS AND MESSAGES! Okay. I was a little hard there, but I am strongly suggesting this. I rarely ever see spam comments on YouTube, (Owned by Google) so, this idea might just work.

A. There's always people around to point out what's most likely a scam. B. There's always the "report" button. "You pale to Fox Mulder." -- CSM

A. There's not always someone to point it out. I honestly think the someones shouldn't have to point it out, and because they feel the need to point it out, it's obvious that this has gone too far. B. There are too many profiles that post the comments. The moderators cant just terminate them. And most of the players don't even report the scammers because of the same reason.

A. I actually went into the Roblox Design It comments yesterday, and every single comment top to bottom were scams. Nothing else. So no. Not always. B. You still have to select the specific users one by one, and there are undoubtedly millions of spam bot users. And there isn't just some page that just shows all the spam bot users, it doesn't work that way. Even collectively it doesn't work. And it's endless, because even if you terminate the users collectively, spam bots can still create more accounts. And they will, terminated users or not. It's an endless loop. Like I said, it's too much work.

@Dr_Spoon Your suggestion is thoughtful, though can be handled personally. Stating a company can control 100% of their players/spam bots actions is simply incorrect. Multiple games now, and in the past have dealt with spam bots. Those companies may find themselves more successful in developing regulations to counterattack than others, though not 100% cleared. The ultimate control over spam bots relies on the players themselves to hold responsibility in reporting these people on sight.

No one can possibly report every single one of those scams out there. I support mass reporting via screenshots.

@Henrypika As I said, it relies on the responsibility of playerS (plural). If a game community can manage to function together in order to prevent spam, then it can be done.

I volunteered as a mini-mod for comments, and even tried to ask people to help report them... It DOESNT work because, NO ONE CARES ANYMORE. "Kathy! Get. Off. My. Keyboard!"

@Henrypika If they don't care, then it'd seem obvious that they'd not fall for the spam links that'd otherwise 'doom' their accounts to a new owner as well.
