(That and the second one was a little long and people changed a minor poke fun into personal attack -_-)
I've decided to make this one SOULY to roblox, say what ever you like community, agree, disagree, or whatever, I'll bump it up with our without you so it doesn't get drowned out by people wanting tix...
(If there was more smart people on S&L, I would likely get a lot of support, how ever there mostly is just me and a few other guys, and guys that think doing this will bring a swarm of oder's that will turn the website into a dating sim or something, it's better off to just ignore them)
Recently there was the accessories update, it was a really cool update because it allowed you to wear a whooping TEN hats at once! Ontop of all that, every hat on roblox was now organized into it's category!
However.. there is a small problem with it all.. there are type restrictions.
I highly suggest doing a simple fix (If you aren't very buisy with the R15 gear situation rn) to make it where you can wear a total of 10 accessories put together. This way flaws in the system. ex: not being able to wear a bandit mask and an eyepatch. Will be fixed.
I came up with a lot of reasons why you may have done this and not fixed it yet, but now it doesn't matter why it's like this, we just need it fixed, here are the reasons why you should fix it.
- It's not causing a dating problem just because people are wearing two hairs, that's ridiculous
- It sounds good on paper to make it where you can only wear one item per category, but it ruined a lot of cool hat combinations, plus people usually have their own sense of what would look "normal" and or "cool"
- People will buy the new items you release regardless of what you limit them too, so it's better to drop restrictions and just make cool items that people want to buy (plus people like to be unique with their avatar, so why wouldn't they buy the new stuff?)
- You will likely sell more items if you drop the restrictions, as in lets say some rich kids would like to buy two very expensive wings to wear at the same time.
- It would put all the work you put into organizing the hats in the first place to good use.
- I know it may look kinda sloppy to let people clip their hats and look strange, but like I hinted at already, there are some very cool results of combining hats and accessories. Also, characters now can already look straight up wacky even with the restrictions. I think people can make their own judgement on what to wear.
- If you are worried about everyone wearing 10 items and lagging games, well yes that COULD happen, but likely won't. Most people don't have enough items that look decent together to fill even 5 or 6 items. Only rarely will people come in wearing the total 10 hat limit.
Yea so please, bring this up in the next meeting! I know most online games restrict you on what you can wear, but roblox doesn't have to be that way. That's what makes roblox so great!
