I watched as the two men marched back in. One of them muttered, "We have to take all of these crates?" and shook his head. The other nodded. "it sucks," They walked down into the basement. I made a run for the door. |

When we got to the door, I looked for the handle. I found it, but it was locked. I kicked at the door, hoping the wood was weak. The men hear me and start coming up the stairs. I finally kick the door open. The men reach the top of the staircase. I grab Silver's hand and pull her outside. |

I led her down the street. I saw a truck with big wheels. I slid underneath it, just as the men came running out of the building. I hoped they wouldn't notice Silver as she tried to hide. I looked back and saw they were looking around. "Hurry!" I exclaimed. |

I dove under, being as skinny as I was it wasn't hard to do physically. But mentally I felt like I would explode. Never in my life had I don't something like this, I liked it a bit, but at the sane time longed for the comfort of my dark, safe room. |

Silver slid under next to me. I looked back and sighed with relief as the men gave up and returned to the warehouse. I rolled out from underneath the car. "That was close," I breathed. "I wonder what was so important in those crates," I say. |
